Dan Morrison

Dan Morrison is an Area Director for Murphy Business and Financial Services New England Region.  He provides a full portfolio of business brokerage services for South Eastern Massachusetts and North Eastern Rhode Island business owners. 

Dan has over 25 years of senior level executive management experience. His industry experience spans across multiple sectors including consulting, manufacturing, technology, services and training.  Dan’s business experience ranges from creating high level strategy to leading teams responsible for sales, marketing, business development, training and overseeing all aspects of customer service.

Dan’s focus over the past ten years has been to assist small business owners align their business models to their goals, overcome business challenges, as well as integrate rules and policies due to mergers, acquisitions, high growth and consolidation.  Most recently, Dan was responsible for leading a strategic initiative board chartered to define growth and cost cutting strategies in the small and commercial business market sector.  

Dan was originally trained in the US Navy where he received technology training with an extensive focus on leadership development.  Along with receiving an honorable discharge, he was awarded several military certificates for his military service.  Most notable, he received a certificate of appreciation and was recognized by NASA for playing a vital role in the recovery of the space ship Challenger after its tragic flight.

Dan is a coach style leader that is known for his high level of professionalism, motivation and passion for mutual success. He places a strong value on respect, honesty, integrity and transparency.  He has a proven track record of building trusted advisor relationships with his clients.

On a personal note, he lives in the greater Providence Rhode Island metropolitan area with his wife and three sons. He serves as a local town representative in his home town and is an active Council for Children (CFC) board member (a nonprofit board in South Eastern Massachusetts).  He has received extensive leadership and business training from several recognized institutes and universities.  He has a Business Sciences degree from Columbia Union College.
