
Jeff Ligas brings his multifaceted experience as both an entrepreneur and a manager to bear while assisting small business owners evaluate their companies and bring them to market. Jeff has both owned his own small businesses and been employed in management at Fortune 1000 companies in the fields of marketing, sales, and operations.
Upon receiving his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Jeff worked for over 10 years for General Electric's Transportation Division. He had many roles in Operations Management, including Supply Chain Optimization and Inventory Management. Jeff received the esteemed Six Sigma Black Belt certification for Lean Production inventory management.
Jeff has additional management experience in the fields of Sales and Marketing while employed at a shoe manufacturer and a software developer. He also has experience as a Middle Market Commercial Banker, serving small business clients ranging in size from $10 million to $50 million in annual revenue.
In addition to his diverse career in the corporate world, Jeff is an accomplished entrepreneur. He has been involved in the start up of a title insurance company and an online automobile retailer. Jeff has served on the boards of various non-profit organizations in Buffalo, NY and Baltimore, MD. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Marketing from Carnegie Mellon University. Jeff is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
